METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TONER AND TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having small unevenness in shape among particles and a small width of particle size distribution, and to provide a method for manufacturing a toner by which such a toner can be manufactured. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a toner comprises a kneading step of kneading starting materials including a resin and a colorant as principal components with a kneading machine to obtain a kneaded material, a pulverizing step of pulverizing the kneaded material, a dispersing step of dispersing pulverized powder obtained by the pulverizing step in a dispersion medium to obtain a dispersion, and an atomizing step of atomizing the dispersoid in the dispersion by discharging the dispersion from at least two or more nozzles in such a way that dispersion parts discharged from the nozzles collide with each other. Dispersion parts discharged from two nozzles having the longest distance between their tops among the at least two or more nozzles have a collision angle of 90-180°. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
