Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a translucent liquid crystal display device, capable of being provided with desired color characteristics in the reflecting area and the transmission area, respectively, and manufactured suppressing increase in manufacturing process, and further capable of preventing failure from occurring in an alignment film coating process. SOLUTION: In the color filter for a liquid crystal display device comprising, in one pixel, an area where a plurality of colored layers is laminated and an area where less number of colored layers than the plurality of colored layers are formed, resin layers other than the colored layers are formed in the area where less number of colored layers than the plurality of colored layers are formed, and step differences in one pixel are made to 0.5μm or less.
