Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus for a heating furnace capable of stably forming broad flame while preventing a nozzle from being burnt and damaged. SOLUTION: In the combustion apparatus for the heating furnace, a fuel injecting body B, of which side section area shape is a long cylinder form, with a single nozzle 9, which is fit at a tip end part, having an injection hole 9a for injecting gas fuel into the furnace is provided in a state of being thrusted into an oxygen-containing gas supplying passage for supplying oxygen-containing gas for combustion into the furnace through a supplying port of a heating furnace side part. The nozzle 9 is formed in a semicircle or a similar shape in a longitudinal direction along the longitudinal direction of the fuel injecting body B with a front face 9d of a gas fuel injection side for exposing from a nozzle exposing opening 10 in the fuel injection body B formed as an arc along an outer face of the fuel injecting body B.
