Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating compressor capable of reducing the number of faces to be machined and additional components, and simplifying the manufacture and assembly of the compressor. SOLUTION: A motor 18 and a single body member 26 supported by the motor, i.e., a body member with a cylinder 30 and a head part 34 integrated with each other are disposed in a sealed casing 12. A piston 38 to be driven by a crank shaft 22 of the motor is fitted in the cylinder, and a discharge passage and a discharge valve assembly 50 are provided on the head part.
