METHOD FOR HEATING AND PRESSING PRODUCT TO BE PROCESSED BY DOUBLE BELT MACHINE AND THE DOUBLE BELT MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for heating and pressing a product to be processed in a double belt machine, capable of highly uniformizing a required high temperature distribution in the lateral direction of an endless belt made of a metal, capable of bringing the belt traveling at a low temperature to a high temperature in a moment, capable of uniformly smoothing the surface of a heating roll and capable of uniformly heating and pressing the product to be processed without damaging the heating roll by the edge of the belt. SOLUTION: A pair of upper and lower endless belts (1 and 2) made of a metal are rotationally driven in the opposed belt region thereof in the same direction and the product (W) to be processed is continuously supplied to the gap between the belts (1 and 2) opposed in the opposed belt region to be transferred in the same direction. During this transfer, the respective belts (1 and 2) are pressed in the opposed direction of the belts in the opposed belt region by a plurality of induction heating rolls (19) to be simultaneously heated to a high temperature and continuous treatment is applied to the product (W) to be processed between the upper and lower belts (1 and 2) along with the rotation of the belts (1 and 2).
