Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic toner in which a magnetic material and charge control resin are uniformly dispersed even in the case of a small particle diameter and a nearly sphered shape, and which has high transfer efficiency, endurance stability and high developing performance and undergoes little environmental variation. SOLUTION: In the magnetic toner containing at least a binder resin and a magnetic material, the principal component of the binder resin is resin containing a polyester unit synthesized with a tin compound of a 5-15C alkylcarboxylic acid as a catalyst and an average particle diameter of the magnetic material is 0.1-0.3 μm, and the toner further contains the charge control resin.
