Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quality, while spoiling no outward appearance, even if the fringe of a gradation display part does not agree accurately with the fringe of an annular narrowed part. SOLUTION: In this dial structure for an instrument, an annular swelled projection part 16 is provided on a dial 5, and the gradation display part 17 on which a gradation 17a is provided concentrically is provided inside the annular swelled projection part 16, and different paintings are applied onto at least the gradation display part 17 and its periphery. An annular groove 19a for a parting line is formed on the annular swelled projection part 16, and the parting line 21 between the gradation display part 17 and the painting on its periphery is arranged at least on the annular groove 19a for the parting line.
