Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a waste tire feeder, and to prevent the waste tire from being stuffed in damper devices or a carrying pipe. SOLUTION: The waste tire feeder has a carrying pipe 2 in which damper devices 31 and 32 constituted so that a pair of valve plates 5 and 6 are opened/closed in a biparting manner are installed on at least two positions in the vertical direction, and feeds waste tire T to a kiln bottom side of a rotary kiln 62 via the carrying pipe 2 while maintaining predetermined airtightness by maintaining at least one of the damper devices 31 and 32 in a closed state. A distribution port 4i generated by opening the pair of valve plates 5 and 6 in the damper devices 31 and 32 and a distribution port 2c of the carrying pipe 2 are formed to have an area larger than the area of a circle with the maximum dimension Dmax of the waste tire T as the diameter thereof.
