ADAPTIVE ARRAY ANTENNA SYSTEM AND WEIGHT COEFFICIENT CALCULATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptive array antenna system for reducing the power consumption by decreasing the computing amount required to obtain a proper weight coefficient. SOLUTION: The adaptive array antenna system is provided with: a weight calculation section 10 for calculating a weight coefficient of a received signal by adaptive control; a converging state evaluation section 14 for evaluating a converging state of the adaptive control; and a weight calculation control section 16 for controlling the operation of the adaptive control by the weight calculation section 10 in response to the evaluation result of the converging state.
