WAVELENGTH DIVISION MULTIPLEXING OPTICAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, OPTICAL TRANSMITTER, OPTICAL RECEIVER, AND OPTICAL TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the interference between the optical signals in 4 wave mixing of an optical fiber while using the optical band effectively in a wavelength division multiplexing optical transmission system. SOLUTION: An optical frequency area is divided with an interval of Δν, and the respective optical frequencies ν1 to ν8 of a plurality of optical signals are arranged with the equal interval eliminating an equal interval position ν3a equal to and more than 1.
