REMOTE FAILURE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load on a user and communication traffic in a remote failure diagnostic system. SOLUTION: In the remote failure diagnostic system, a failure diagnostic server 101 is connected to a failure diagnostic target vehicle 110 through a network and decides whether failures are caused in the diagnostic target vehicle 110 or not by using vehicle data previously acquired from a failed vehicle 111 before the occurrence of failures. Specifically, the failure diagnostic server 101 specifies a traveling condition for acquiring vehicle data to the diagnostic target vehicle 110. The diagnostic target vehicle 110 acquires the vehicle data matched with the traveling condition and transmits the vehicle data to the failure diagnostic server 101. The failure diagnostic server 101 diagnoses failures on the basis of the vehicle data acquired under the specific traveling condition and the vehicle data of the failed vehicle.
