IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that executes temperature measurement and temperature control appropriate for fixing of toner. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a non-contact temperature measurement device 155 which is disposed apart from a fixing roller 150 and measures the temperature of the fixing roller 150; a contact temperature measurement device 175 which is disposed in contact with a pressure roller 170 and measures the temperature of the pressure roller 170; and a control part 180 which controls supply of power to a heat source 151 so that the temperature measured by the non-contact temperature measurement device 155 reaches the first target temperature, controls supply of power to a heat source 171 so that the temperature measured by the contact temperature measurement device 175 reaches the second target temperature and, further, controls rotations of the fixing roller 150 and pressure roller 170 and which determines that the non-contact temperature measurement device 155 is in an abnormal state when the temperature measured by the contact temperature measurement device 175 is equal to or higher the first predetermined temperature.
