Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detection method capable of evaluating a joint member of which the joint state of part of the joint part is defective and the other parts are satisfactory. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic flaw detection method comprises a step for arranging a joint material having an area smaller than that of each opposed surface of a base material and a material to be joined in a gap between the base material and the material to be joined; a step for detecting a depletion region in the opposed surfaces to which the joining material is not opposed; a step for joining the base material and the material to be joined between which the joint material is arranged; a step for irradiating the material to be joined included in the depletion region with an ultrasonic beam; and a step for receiving echoes reflected at the interface between the material to be joined included in the depletion region and the material to be joined.
