REFRIGERATOR AND HINGE MECHANISM FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of easily sealing a clearance between left and right doors in a case of hinged double doors, and improving the durability of gaskets located outside the hinges, and an effective area of a movable shelf regardless of whether it is the hinged double doors type refrigerator or not, in the refrigerator comprising a rotary door. SOLUTION: The hinge part 10 is composed of a hinge plate 1 comprising a hinge pin 11 and mounted on a refrigerator main body, and a stopper plate 2 comprising a pin receiving recess part 21 and mounted on a rotary door 3. Here the pin receiving recess part 21 is formed into the shape of a slot, and its positional relationship with the hinge pin 11 covering the same, is variable by the action of a cam between a guide pin 12 on the hinge plate 1 and a cam part 23 formed by an end face of a stopper plate 2. The rotary door 3 receiving the action of the cam is shifted to the outside in the lateral direction when the rotary door 3 is opened by the displacement of the hinge pin 11 and the pin receiving recessed part 21 covering the same on the basis of the action of the cam.
