SOLUTION: The face image photographing apparatus is provided with a photographing means for photographing an object including the face of a person to be photographed and his/her clothing under illumination light and outputting image capture data, a storage means for storing the image capture data, and a control means for correcting the color influence that is caused by the reflected light from the clothing, upon the object except for clothing.
