VIDEO RECORDER FOR ROAD AND RIVER, AND REPRODUCING APPARATUS OF VIDEO DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recorder for roads and rivers capable of accurately relating video data to a position on a map and obtaining video data for each prescribed distance without waste and to provide a reproducing apparatus of the video data. SOLUTION: The video recorder is provided with: a picture recording means 10 for recording a video around a road or a river; a coordinate generating means 12 for providing geometrical coordinates of a position recorded by the picture recording means 10; and a video coordinate composite means 16 for composing the video data with the geographical coordinate data, and the video data and the geographical coordinate data are obtained for each prescribed distance measured by a range finder means 18, resulting that the video data for each prescribed distance can easily be obtained.
