PUBLIC INFORMATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an administrative public information system which is superior in handling convenience and quickly copes also with the report transmission of public information needing emergency. SOLUTION: A handler operates a communication terminal apparatus 8 to make an electronic mail containing public information and the designation of a transmission date and time, and to transmit it to a character display sender 1 of a master station apparatus over an internet 9. The sender 1 processes the transmission control of the electronic mail according to its transmitting date and time designation such that the sender wirelessly transmits it to slave station apparatus through a radiotelephone 3 to display it on their character displays 5, 7 on the occasion of an immediate report, or holds the received public information on the occasion of a reserve registration and wirelessly transmits it to slave station apparatus through a radiotelephone 3 at a designated date and time to display the public information on their character displays 5, 7.
