NETWORK TRAFFIC CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network traffic control method and an apparatus thereof capable of preventing excess wavelength from being used for congestion avoidance and reducing the hardware amount in a hybrid node. SOLUTION: An optical label path and an electric label path passing through an optical node and an electric node configuring the hybrid node existing on a path from an ingress node to an egress node are set, the electric node of the hybrid node aggregates packets, and on the occurrence of congestion in the electric node of the hybrid node, the electric label path causing the congestion is particularized and a new optical label path and a new electric label path are set and selected so that the electric label path causing the congestion bypasses the electric node of the hybrid node having caused the congestion.
