Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a stacked photoelectromotive element with which shunting of the stacked photoelectromotive element where a transparent conductive layer is installed between a plurality of photoelectromotive elements having pin junction is solved and a stacked solar battery having a satisfactory characteristic and high yield is realized. SOLUTION: The method has a process for forming a first transparent conductive layer 304 on a defect part 308 between the elements in the stacked photoelectromotive elements, a process for removing the first transparent conductive layer 304 on the defect part 308 by an electrolytic processing, a process for performing an insulating processing on the defect part 308 where the first transparent conductive layer 304 is removed, a process for forming a second transparent conductive layer 305 on the first transparent conductive layer 304 where the defect part 308 is insulated, and a process for stacking and forming the photoelectromotive element 313 having pin junction 306 on the second transparent conductive layer 305.
