PREPARING OPERATION SUPPORT DEVICE FOR FLIER AND CATALOG KIND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an operation to select merchandise and a merchandise image to be carried in flier or catalog kinds. SOLUTION: A merchandise information database 10 in which the merchandise information of each merchandise is stored and a merchandise image database 20 in which the photographic image of each merchandise is stored are prepared. A portion of merchandise information is presented by a merchandise information presenting part 30, and a merchandise selecting part 40 is operated so that merchandise to be carried can be selected. When the image of the selected merchandise is present in the merchandise image database 20, this is presented as a candidate image by a candidate image presenting part 50, and an image selecting part 60 is operated so that the image can be selected. When any image is not present, the image of another similar merchandise is retrieved by an image retrieval part 80 so as to be diverted. As for the diverted image, link information is generated by a link information generating part 90, and stored in a link information storing part 95, and the image is automatically presented as the candidate image by the candidate image presenting part 50 at the next and following times.
