ROAD SURFACE PROPERTY MEASURING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road surface property measuring unit for measuring and synthesizing a road surface profile and the three-dimensional geographical coordinates at each point on a road surface for accurately displaying a road surface state so that it can be grasped easily. SOLUTION: The road surface property measuring unit comprises a profiler 10 for measuring the distance between each point on a road surface and oneself; a coordinates generating means 14 for giving three-dimensional geographical coordinates; a coordinates synthesis means 18 for synthesizing the distance data and three-dimensional geographical coordinates for generating data regarding the irregularities on the road surface by linking the three-dimensional geographical coordinates for each point on the road surface; and a data synthesizing means 26 for displaying irregularities on the road surface as an image reflected on an actual road surface image acquired by an image acquisition means 24, thus easily grasping the road surface profile.
