SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXAMINING AND SELECTING IMAGE FOR PRINTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can select images captured by a digital camera quickly and easily for printing with a digital printer. SOLUTION: The system is composed of a digital camera which captures images and a printer which makes hard copy printed materials. The digital camera is equipped with the following: an image sensor for capturing images; a memory which stores two or more captured images; and an image display which displays stored images. The printer is equipped with the following: a marking device which offers an image to a printed material; an electrical interface which transfers an image from the camera to the printer; and a user control device. The user control device controls the digital photograph system and offers a slide show an operation mode. It also displays each of the captured images on the image display as the current image during the set period. Also during the set period, it responds to a user concerned in the print command user control, and provides a printing command which indicates that the currently displayed image is to be printed.
