RICE COOKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rice cooker which can cook tasty rice by promoting the grueling of the rice without making the rice dry in the upper layer thereof. SOLUTION: The rice cooker is provided with a pot induction heating coil 4 for induction heating a pot 2 made of a magnetic material, a pot opening part induction heating coil 13 which induction heats a heating plate 12 made of the magnetic material covering the opening part of the pot 2, a steam generation part which evaporates the water in a water tank 6 made of the magnetic material with a water tank induction heating coil 7 to generate the steam, a steam path 8 which has one end thereof connected to the steam generation part communicating therewith while the other end thereof is opened to the pot, a first inverter circuit for supplying the high-frequency currents to the pot induction heating coil 4, a second inverter circuit for supplying the high-frequency currents to the pot opening part induction heating coil and/or the water tank induction heating coil according to the rice cooking process and a control part.
