FORMING APPARATUS FOR SLIDE FASTENER STOP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming apparatus for a slide fastener stop in which a fastener chain is prevented from getting dirty by automatically excluding waste material such as lubricating oil and cutting refuse generated when forming the stop on the transporting path for the fastener chain, and cost reduction of finishing work and an improvement in yield of a product are achieved by enabling the stop to be formed at the end of the meshing element string of the fastener chain consecutively. SOLUTION: When the stop for integrally combining the end of the meshing element string by moving a stop forming part (20) forward and backward from the lower waiting position of a chain transporting path toward the chain, the lubricant oil lubricating the sliding part of a driver punch (21) and a cutting punch (41) and the waste material such as oil applied to a stop material, the cutting refuse made when cutting off the stopping part material are automatically discharged to the outside of a forward/backward moving path of the forming part (20) via a waste material discharge path (50) opening toward the cutting position of a cutting part (40) arranged in the middle of the path.
