DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CAMERA OPERATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera operating device in which anybody can easily consider the accurate camerawork by making the position of an object as a reference with simple operations, without being conscious of the length and the freedom degree of the movement of each axis constituting a series of actuators provided for forming the various movements of an actual robot camera, and to provide a camera operating method. SOLUTION: The camera operating device is provided with the robot camera 2 for photographing the object 1, a virtual object 4 arranged separately and independently from the object 1, a model camera 5 to be arranged oppositely to the virtual object 4, a model movement detecting means 6 for detecting the movement of the model camera 5 by holding it, a robot camera control means 7 for controlling the movement of the robot camera corresponding to the detected movement of the model camera, and an image display means 8 for displaying the images photographed by the robot camera.
