INPUT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely perform image scrolling or cursor movement in each of vertical and horizontal directions with high operability. SOLUTION: An input device is provided with a vertical scroll wheel 5 which has a spherical shape with a shaft 7 going through the center of the spherical shape inserted therethrough and a horizontal scroll wheel 6 which has an almost hemispherical shape, wherein a concave surface hollowed in a shape almost similar to the spherical shape of the vertical scroll wheel is formed on a plane side of the hemispherical shape. The horizontal scroll wheel 6 is disposed with the concave surface partially covering the spherical surface of the vertical scroll wheel 5, and with a shaft 8 attached to its curved surface side coaxially to the center of the vertical scroll wheel and perpendicularly to the shaft 7 of the vertical scroll wheel 5.
