Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a credit-card function to a personal digital assistant while excluding illicit acts. SOLUTION: When user authentication is successful, a list of credit services to which the user of a cellphone 1 subscribes is displayed on the screen of the cellphone 1. When a predetermined credit service is selected, the card information of a credit card issued for the credit service is written into the memory of the noncontact IC card reader/writer chip of the cellphone 1 by a card information management system 22. When the cellphone 1 is brought close to a reader/writer 31, the card information written in the memory is read by a CAT terminal 32 and settlement based on it is carried out by a card company's host terminal 21.
