METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TREATING END SURFACE OF NETTED OR WIRED GLASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net-wired or metal wired glass, wherein, even if it has metal wires protruding from its end surface and ones bent and exceeding the range of the thickness of a glass sheet, they can be kept within the range of the thickness of the glass sheet at the end surface when the glass is bent. SOLUTION: In this device, when the net-wired or metal wired glass is conveyed horizontally on a transfer roll, and if it has metal wires protruding from its end surface and ones bent and exceeding the range of the thickness of the glass sheet, they are corrected to be within the width of the thickness of the glass sheet by a primary correcting means of a correcting board located in the vicinity of at least either one of upper or lower end surfaces, and corrected to be aligned in the direction of the center of the thickness of the glass sheet by a secondary correcting means of the correcting board, then the protruding metal wire is bent along the end surface of the glass sheet by the pushing pressure of a freely rotating pushing roller.
