SOLUTION SET FOR PREPARATION OF PERITONEAL DIALYSIS FLUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide peritoneal dialysis fluid which suppresses generation of glucose decomposition products due to sterilization with heat and has pH closer to physiological pH. SOLUTION: This peritoneal dialysis fluid preparation set consists of separately packaged a first and a second solutions. The first solution is prepared by heat sterilization of an aqueous solution of pH 4.0 to 5.0 containing glucose and not containing lactic acid ions. The second solution is prepared by heat sterilization of an aqueous solution containing sodium lactate. Either the first solution or the second solution or both contain at least one of sodium chloride, calcium chloride, and magnesium chloride. The volume ratio of the first solution to the second solution is within a range of 5:1 to 9:1. The glucose concentration of a solution obtained by mixing the first solution and the second solution is 5.0 to 50.0 g/L and the pH of the solution obtained by mixing the first solution and the second solution is within a range of 6.0 to 7.3.
