WOUND PROTECTING TOOL FOR ANIMAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound protecting tool for an animal, by which the invasion of bacteria due to licking the wound by the animal itself is prevented when a four-footed creature such as dogs or other animals injure themselves in the leg. SOLUTION: The tool includes: a protecting tool main body having a wound guard part to which the front or rear leg of the four-footed animal such as a dog or a cat is inserted; and fixtures for fixing the protecting tool main body to a body in a worn state. (1) The protecting tool main body is configured to cover the wound in the leg, and the wound is protected regardless of various normal movements by having the fixtures to fix the main body to the body. (2) Mounting is facilitated by having an opening/closing means on the side surface of the protecting tool. (3) A bondage mechanism for simulating a leg shape is disposed in the protecting tool, so as to obtain a feeling to fit the body. Then it is prevented that the tool disturbs the movement or a useless protecting tool is caught by a circumferential object. (4) The protecting tool is made of an extending/contracting base material.
