STRUCTURE FOR MOUNTING BRUSH BASE FOR MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a brush base on a bracket with high spatial efficiency, and further to improve productivity of its parts. SOLUTION: A motor 10, using this brush base mounting structure, has a bracket 14 which is fixed to a stator, a brush base 17 which is retained via a shock absorbing member 33 by the bracket 14, and brushes 28 and 29 which are provided on the brush base 17 so as to supply a rotor with power. The shock-absorbing member 33 has a shank which projects toward the bracket 14, when it is attached to the brush base 17, and the shank is inserted and fixed in a through hole 50 made in the bracket 14, thereby retaining the brush base 17 with the bracket 14.
