TERRESTRIAL DIGITAL TELEVISION BROADCAST RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terrestrial digital television broadcast receiver provided with a means for carrying out channel scanning at a high speed. SOLUTION: The terrestrial digital television broadcast receiver is provided with: a first reception means for receiving a terrestrial digital television broadcast signal; a first signal detection means for detecting the presence / absence of the terrestrial digital television broadcast signal by the first reception means; a storage means for storing a channel list; and a control means for controlling the first reception means, the first signal detection means, and the storage means, and the control means allows the first reception means to select any of channels stored in the storage means and determines that the channel is not the terrestrial digital television broadcast channel when the signal detection means detects no terrestrial digital television broadcast signal from the channel.
