Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology for creating information used for decision as to whether contents distribution of a video on demand form is to be implemented, and informing a contents provider about the information. SOLUTION: When receiving accesses from viewer terminals after collecting the advance notice information of contents for which live distribution is scheduled, from live providers, a contents distribution supporting apparatus prepares information used for inquiry about whether the distribution of contents scheduled for live distribution is to be requested according to the video on demand form on the basis of the collected advance notice information, transmits the information to the viewer terminals, and receives the information of the distribution request according to the video on demand form as to the contents scheduled for live distribution from the viewer terminals. Then the contents distribution supporting apparatus collects the information obtained as above, creates the request status information of the distribution request of the video on demand form as to the contents scheduled for live distribution and informs the live providers about the information.
