METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING RARE EARTH MAGNET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize micronization of R-Fe-B magnetic powder in which contamination of C or the like is reduced, to improve the high coercive force and mechanical strength and to obtain high coercive force by micronization even when the contents of inexpensive Dy and Tb are small as compared with conventional methods. SOLUTION: Rare earth magnets are manufactured in process for pulverizing material powder for R-Fe-B rare earth magnets in oil by a wet method without using a pulverization medium, a process for obtaining compacts by wet molding in a magnetic field by using the oil and the pulverized magnetic powder, a process for deoiling the compacts, and a process for sintering the deoiled compacts.
