Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operating performance, while making an intake device for an internal combustion engine compact. SOLUTION: An air cleaner 2 and a collector 3 are integrally formed by partitioning them with one partition wall 4. An on-off valve 5 that is openable/closable between the air cleaner 2 and the collector 3, is opened at the time of output full open of the engine and is closed at the time of partial load is fitted to the partition wall 4. A clean side space 23 in the downstream side of a filter element 22 of the air cleaner 2 and a space 31 inside the collector 3 are communicated and connected with each other by a clean side duct 6 placed outside the air cleaner 2 and the collector 3.
