Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for being used together with a binder for a glass fiber nonwoven fabric, comprising a Lewis acid, an organic acid salt, a free-radical generator or a mixture thereof, and for providing a stronger bond than ever, increased crosslinking density, a decreased curing time, and a decreased curing temperature. SOLUTION: A glass fiber mat is formed by using a polymer binder composition containing the catalyst, wherein the mat exhibits both flexibility and elasticity, and the mat is stored in a compressed state and returned to its original thickness, when a compressive force applied thereto is once removed. Further, a wood composite material free from aldehyde, such as plywood and a fiber board, may be produced by using the polymer binder composition containing the catalyst. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
