WEFT INSERTING DEVICE IN JET LOOM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weft insertion device improving the pressure wave-form of jetting pressure of air. SOLUTION: Weft inserting auxiliary nozzle groups 13-16 are connected through solenoid on-off valves 26A to 26D to an air tank 19 at a position of higher pressure. The weft inserting auxiliary nozzle groups 13-16 are connected through solenoid on-off valves 27A to 27D to an air tank 20 at a position of lower pressure. A controller C outputs a reference signal or a correction signal as a magnetically exciting signal for magnetically exciting the solenoid on-off valves 26A to 26D and the solenoid on-off valves 27A to 27D on the basis of reading results of a weft selection pattern. The solenoid on-off valves 26A to 26D and the solenoid on-off valves 27A to 27D are subjected to demagnetization and magnetic excitation control based on the weft selection pattern.
