Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide planar boehmite intercalated with an organic substance, planar boehmite having separated layers in the b-axis direction, a method for manufacturing them, and a resin-boehmite composite material containing them. SOLUTION: The planar boehmite is intercalated with one of ≥3C diols, condensed ethylene glycols, and aminoalcohols having a hydroxy group at least one end of the molecule. The invention provides a method for manufacturing planar boehmite intercalated with an organic substance by heat treating aluminum hydroxide and one of diols, condensed ethylene glycols and aminoalcohols having a hydroxy group at least one end of the molecule in a solvent having a high dielectric constant.
