BALLISTOCARDIOGRAM MONITORING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable ballistocardiogram monitoring device worn on one arm of a subject and constantly monitoring the ballistocardiogram in daily life. SOLUTION: This ballistocardiogram monitoring device is characterized in having a single electrode in contact with an organism surface, a conductor spatially and electrically insulated from the electrode, a preamplifier and a notch filter selectively removing a commercial AC frequency from an input signal; connecting the conductor to a non-inverting input terminal of a first-stage operational amplifier of the preamplifier; connecting the single electrode to the ground of the preamplifier; and obtaining an electrostatic potential induced to the ground of the preamplifier with the heart muscle activities as a difference between the conductor and an absolute potential.
