Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information service system which can simply and more appropriately offer information desired by a user. SOLUTION: An access history management means 4 manages the degree of interest in each classification for each user. A user identification determining means determines the user, and an information-selecting input means receives specification of information to be used. An interest information selecting means 5 reads the specified information from an information source 6 and displays it on a monitor 8 via an editing means. A by-user access information classifying means 3 determines the classification to which the specified information belongs, and transmits the determined classification and the determined user to the access history managing means. The access history managing means 4 increases the degree of interest of the determined user in the transmitted classification. When the information selecting input means receives specifications of automatic mode, the access history management means 4 transmits the classification, to which the degree of interest of the user concerned is set highest, to the interest information selecting means 5, and the interest information selecting means 5 reads the information belonging to the transmitted classification from the information source 6, and displays it on the monitor 8 via the editing means.
