METAL WIRE FOR GLASS SEALING, TUBULAR BULB, AND ELECTRICAL COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal wire for air tight sealing which has good adhesiveness to a soft glass, has no possibility of the occurrence of leaks or cracks, and, even if using a noble metal such as Pt (platinum), requires a slight amount of the metal to be used so that the steep rise of the material cost can be inhibited, a tubular bulb using this metal wire and an electrical component. SOLUTION: A metal wire 1A (11) for glass sealing comprising a core wire 2 and single or multiple metal layer(s) 5 provided on the surface of the core wire 2 and formed of at least one metal selected from among gold, silver or platinum group elements; the tubular bulb L1 using this metal wire 1A (11); and an electrical component are provided.
