PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select contents under the consideration of the intentions of contents provision of contents providers at the time of selecting contents to be distributed to a viewer from contents to be provided. SOLUTION: This contents selecting method is provided with a configure to manage the number of times of distribution requests of contents successively updated according to the distribution of contents, the intention values of the contents provision and calculated values calculated based on the number of times of distribution and the intention values corresponding to the contents to be distributed.
