Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment device capable of improving recovery efficiency of waste heat. SOLUTION: This waste treatment device has an incinerator 1 for burning wastes, a dust collection means 3 for catching soot and dust that exhaust gas generated in the incinerator 1 contains, a waste heat recovery boiler 9 for recovering heat of exhaust gas from the dust collection means 3, a melting furnace 5 for melting soot and dust caught by the dust collection means 3 and turning them into slag, and an independent superheater 7 for recovering heat of exhaust gas from the melting furnace 5 to lead exhaust gas from the independent superheater 7 onto the upstream side of the waste heat recovery boiler 9. In this configuration, since exhaust gas exhausted when soot and dust caught by the dust collection means 3 are melted in the melting furnace 5 and are turned into slag contains scarcely hydrogen chloride, temperature of steam circulating in a heat transfer pipe of the independent superheater 7 is raised above that of the waste heat recovery boiler 9. Even the waste heat recovery boiler 9 can recover waste heat from exhaust gas from the dust collection means 3 and the independent superheater 7, thereby improving recovery efficiency of waste heat.
