PAPER SHEET STACKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet stacking device assuring good performance of stacking sheets of paper by correcting the trend of folding of a long stretching receipt. SOLUTION: The paper sheet stacking device is equipped with a stacking part 61 for stacking thereon the long stretching receipts 6a which are fed, a transport belt 64 to touch the oversurface of the receipts 6a fed to the stacking part 61 and transport them toward the innermost in the feed-in direction, a fan 64 to give a negative pressure to each receipt 6a transported by the belt 64 to be sucked fast to the belt 64, a holding arm 72 sucked fast to the belt 64 and holding the leading edge of the receipt 6a transported toward the innermost in the feed-in direction, and a control device 81 which transports the receipt 6a for a certain distance in the reverse direction by operating the belt 64 in the reverse direction after its leading edge is held by the arm 72 and disengages giving the pressure by the fan 65 to the receipt 6a.
