Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault-tolerant ATM that enables paying-in/out transaction even if the print density of a bankbook printing mechanism is low. SOLUTION: The state of an ink ribbon in the bankbook printing mechanism 207 is checked (step 103). If the ink ribbon is in a thin state, it is warned to a user that booking is not available, and a key picture for selecting the continuation or cancellation of the transaction is displayed (step 104, picture 301). When the user depresses the continuation key (step 105), a key picture for selecting the transaction is displayed (step 106, picture 302). If the transaction of paying-in/out is finished, transaction contents are printed in a detailed slip by using a detailed slip printing mechanism 205, and the bankbook and detailed slip are returned to the user (step 114, picture 305).
