Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower with deodorizing and sterilizing functions, capable of efficiently performing air deodorization and sterilization over a large area without using an air filter by applying ultraviolet rays to a surface for forming an air passage formed of a photocatalyst coated surface. SOLUTION: The air blower is provided with a blowing fan 2 which exhausts air sucked from an inlet 13 from an exhaust port, and an air passage 11 equipped with a wind direction changing plate 10 which changes a flow of the air sucked by the blowing fan 2 through the air passage. The whole surface of the inside of each of the air passage or some surface is formed of a photocatalyst coating surface X, and an ultraviolet rays irradiating means 3 for applying ultraviolet rays to the photocatalyst coating surface is arranged inside the air passage.
