VIBRATOR MECHANISM AND VIBRATING ROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrator mechanism which is of a "horizontal vibration-normal vibration" switchable type, and solves a problem of collision of a movable eccentric weight, and to provide a vibrating roller. SOLUTION: The vibrator mechanism is formed of a central exciting shaft 20 arranged at the center of a roll 1 and having the movable eccentric weight 25 mounted thereon; eccentric exciting shafts 22, 23 arranged across the central exciting shaft 20 and having respective fixed eccentric weights 27A, 27B mounted thereon; a drive transfer mechanism for transferring drive force to the eccentric exciting shafts 22, 23 such that the eccentric exciting shafts 22, 23 are always in the same phase; a first clutch C1 engaged with the central exciting shaft 20 only when the shaft is rotated in one direction, to thereby rotate the eccentric exciting shafts 22, 23; and a second clutch C2 disengaged from the central exciting shaft 20 when the shaft is rotated in the one direction and engaged with the same when it is rotated in the other direction, to thereby rotate the movable eccentric weight 25 together with the central exciting shaft 20.
