Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas inhibiting the catalyst from being poisoned by phosphor, particularly inhibiting alumina as a support material from being poisoned by phosphor utilizing Zr without impairing activity of the catalyst. SOLUTION: Zirconia particles 6 having a particle diameter of 10 nm or smaller are dispersed and carried on an outer surface of γ-alumina particles 5 as the support material carried with a catalyst noble metal.
