Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling control method of an automated carrier truck, capable of responding to a layout using a long-distance traveling rail or curved rail to precisely stop the automated carrier truck at a stop point, and of reducing the cost of an automated carrying system by limiting the use of an expensive linear scale to a local point such as the stop point. SOLUTION: In this traveling control method of the automated guided truck which travels in a predetermined carrying passage and stops in an optional stop point, the moving amount between stop points 15 and 15 is measured by an encoder 23a to control the traveling to the stop point 15. Further, a linear scale 13 is arranged in each stop point 15, and the moving amount near the stop point 15 is measured by a linear scale head 14 to perform the positioning in the stop point 15.
