Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical use of a thin film consisting of hydrides of rare earth metals such as a magnesium-nickel system alloy thin film. SOLUTION: A light controlling mirror layer 20 containing the hydrides of the rare earth metals such as the magnesium-nickel system alloy thin film is disposed on the rear side of a liquid crystal panel part 11 as an information display part. Thereby, information of the liquid crystal panel part 11 can be displayed by using a backlight 15 and external light by converting the light controlling mirror layer 20 into a transparent state and a mirror surface state, by converting the light controlling mirror layer 20 into a mirror state respectively, only by controlling applied voltage.
